Start Pictures Château Bel-Air

Here in Bel-Air – the most expensive residential area in Los Angeles, we live in our beautiful villa, situated on a mountaintop, overlooking the Pacific, the islands, Beverly Hills and Downtown Los Angeles.

This piece of art was built by none other than legendary Howard Hughes, once the richest man in the world.

Elvis Presley called this villa his home during his movie career in Hollywood.

In the 1970s, Zsa Zsa Gabor purchased this great building. She had the villa furnished to her taste with the finest European antiques. In 1983, I visited Bel-Air for the first time. I found it fascinating.

Naturally, the piece of property went along well with my title. In 1986, I moved my noble butt into the property, right there on the hill where Howard Hughes, Elvis Presley and Zsa Zsa Gabor were once admired from all around the world.

Presidents and First Ladies, royal couples from Europe and the Arabian countries, world stars and important people from politics and busineshave been frequent visitors of ours.

Who would be able to deny entrance to Thomas Gottschalk, the king of German showbiz? In our breakfast room, he enjoyed his 2 1/2 minute eggs with caviar and truffles, and cleared his throat with fine champagne.

My first visit to Bel-Air in 1983. The desk I am standing in front of is one of only five like it worldwide.
